Dave gave me a list into Auckland on his way to work, I sorted my bounce box, then grabbed a bus to Hamilton. It was a nasty rainy morning, a good day to be on a bus. When I arrived I spent some time researching where to go next.
I met a guy at the holiday park who had a fractured foot, the doctors told him to rest, so he was just waiting to start his hike back up. It’s such a fear for many of us that we will end not being able to hike because of injury. He seemed like a great guy and I hope he makes it.
