Jayden 🇳🇿 and I set off rather late, we grabbed breakfast with two NOBO women who stayed at the hobbit house the night before. At breakfast we ran into Katie, Gerben, Sanne, Georgia and Hunter. So we didn’t actually get started until about noon. It was another hot and sunny day and there was no protection from the sun, but it was along the river so we did stop and have a swim.
We hiked about 25k and then camped at Lake Ohau. The wind was kicking when we got there, there were rather large waves on the lake.
Sunset was very nice, after sunset some thunderstorms rolled through, but just light rain where we were.
